Twenty-five years ago, Texas Ranger Ballard James disappeared while investigating a series of ritualistic murders. Now his son, Ranger Brad James, and his partner find themselves investigating the same type of murders which, oddly enough, are occurring in the same locations as before. As the murderer taunts them at every turn, their suspicions that the murders are the work of a copycat quickly turn to disbelief as the clues begin to point to the original murderer. As they race against the clock to determine a suspect, a witness arrives with a startling revelation that shifts their investigation into the world of the supernatural. Refusing to accept the unholy connections to their case, one of the Rangeras disbelief is soon cast aside when he comes face to face with the man responsible, along with a skeleton from his own closet.
