Résumé du livre

Selecting a minister is a challenging job for any church. The same is true for hiring church employees and recruiting volunteer workers. Many factors affect that process. This book does not attempt to address them all. Rather, the focus is limited to screening concerns and pre-employment issues. While these factors may have been unimportant in the past, certainly that is no longer true today. Too many churches and families have already suffered the pain of betrayal from the misconduct of a church worker or leader. The good news is that churches are now taking a leading role within our society in providing a safe place for their members and staff. Screening serves a vital role in any church's safety efforts. This book addresses that concern. - Back cover.
