How can the scientifically minded person of today approach the healings and miracles of the Gospels, least of all such events as the raising of Lazarus and the Resurrection itself? Emil Bock shows how he can do this without feeling untrue either to himself or to the age in which he lives. He does not smooth the path by minimizing the significance of these events, or explaining away the difficulties. Rather, he leads more deeply into them through creating an understanding of the implications of such a unique event as the incarnation of a divine cosmic being into the body of Jesus on Earth.
