Clark papers include officer's correspondence primarily to his parents, reflecting training at Fort Benning (Georgia), Camp Sutton (North Carolina), Camp Claiborne(Louisiana), and Fort Sill (Oklahoma); a stint as a Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) instructor at Cornell University, New York; World War II (WWII) service in France, Germany, and Czechoslovakia; Korean War service; and subsequent assignment as Army attaché at the American Embassy in Lisbon, Portugal.
