Résumé du livre

When Francois Halard visits the home of Luigi Ghirri, the images of Ghirri's studio in a village of Roncocesi like an artist's portrait, photograph the corporeality and atmospheres of a poetic work. It's a demonstration of what photography is capable of, producing a radiography of a universe in which the relationships between objects are a perfect synthesis between sophisticated beauty and everyday life. Halard's photographic story, is an intimate and personal investigation, as well as a reminiscence. His camera lens confers sacredness to the spaces it focuses on through the course of his journey. It is a way of relating to the world, a world in which beauty is both a necessity and a value, which finds its ultimate expression in an - almost anthropological - investigation of ways of living. 0Exhibition: Robert Morat Galerie, Hamburg, Germany (Fall 2013) / The French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF), New York, USA (10.2013). 0.
