The mission of the Stafford Historical Society is to document, preserve & present the history of the Tow of Stafford through collections, exhibitions, research & educational programs. Excavations at the site of the 19th century red-ware pottery at Morganville were undertaken in 1973 for July 17th - Aug 15th to obtain evidence of the pottery workshop.
