George Wolf was born 29 January 1851 in Waltenheim on Zorn, Alsace. He marrie Marie Raukopf (1857-1890) in 1881. They had five children. He married Margaretha Eder (1863-1928) in 1892. They had two children. He died in 1924 in Lodi, California.
