Description: Contains over fifty sketch maps showing Taylor's survey route from York Factory to the Red River Settlement, as well as sketch maps of the location of an oak tree used as a latitude marker near Turtle Mountain and of the route around Turtle Mountain during his expedition to mark out the 49th Parallel. Also contains astronomical observations taken at Upper Fort Garry, 1827-1828.
