Résumé du livre
Pissodes terminalis Hopping is a widespread associate of Pinus contorta Dougl. in the central Rocky Mountain and Intermountain areas. Life history and habits are similar to those reported for the species elsewhere. Infestations are heaviest in stands in which trees are 5-20 ft tall, and decline as trees grow out of this height class. In one intensive study area about 50% of the trees had been infested at least once, some repeatedly. Dense stands are infested most frequently.
