The collection of philologist, Paul Haupt, consists of correspondence and research for an expedition in search of Assyrian and Babylonian antiquities, 1884-1888; 4 notebooks from his graduate studies at Leipzig, 1877-79; and 1 volume, "Notes from the Oriental Seminary," edited and annotated by Haupt. Some material is in German and the Semitic languages. A final item is a decorative cloth to accompany presentation of the First Eight Parts of the Old Testament in Hebrew, edited by Haupt, to Queen Victoria (Nov. 1898)
