Résumé du livre
Memoirs of Trudi Birger, a German Jewish woman, who was deported to the ghetto in Kovno, where her father was murdered by the Nazis. She was sent, with her mother, to the concentration camp Stutthof. Describes the horrors experienced in this camp and her escape from many fatal situations. During the evacuation of the camp in May 1945, the internees were loaded onto a ship in the Baltic sea. When the boat was attacked by the British Navy, the non-Jewish internees were ordered to push the Jewish women overboard, but they were saved at the last minute.
