Oblivium (n): The state of being in which one is complete oblivious to everything.I coined this term while writing my first novel, Pariah, and it still rings true today.It seems this has become the normal state of life in modern society; the de facto standard, if you will. Everyone stumbles through life, focused intently on their own selves, their lives, their virtual lives, and only those things which directly affect them. Most people stare at their phones like zombies.This is our shared reality.Oblivium is my own little slice of narcissism: a collection of things I wrote before I started indie publishing in 2010. This collection contains both fiction and non-fiction, and likely none of it is worth reading unless you are me or really want to know me.
