Anyone who has attended a class reunion will say that if you are planning to attend one, you must expect the unexpected-and that no swami or soothsayer can predict what such a gathering will produce. Tom Fletcher, elected secretary-treasurer by his fellow high school seniors, decided after their reunion to take the "secretary" part of his job description seriously and to tell what happened. At the outset of his report he pledges that he didn't invent anything of which he writes, but that gets harder and harder to believe the further one reads.
