Résumé du livre
Poetry. POEMS FROM SNOW HILL ROAD is a true bio-regional examination of place. In this case the place is the Smoky Mountains of the Blue Ridge in western North Carolina. While these poems reflect, perfectly, the place and its people, it could also be taken for almost anywhere in the U.S. where there is still a living regional culture and a rural landscape. Brent Martin has worked for most of his adult life for various Land Trusts and wilderness preservation organizations. He currently works for The Wilderness Society. These sensitive and well-crafted poems in a limited fine-editions printing reflect his committment and love of the natural world in all its many faces and extremities.
