Jamie feels different because she's not a typical girl. Her sister, Sky, is ranked most popular girl in the school. How can she compete? Jamie has to decide how much she is willing to change in order to be accepted. She eventually learns from Des, the Mal surfer, that respecting yourself and facing up to your fears is the best way to contentment. Suggested level: intermediate, junior secondary.
