Résumé du livre

"The purpose of this study is to find out what, if any, are the potentialities of the magnetic tape recorder in the education of blind and partially blind children; to study magnetic recordings as an auditory sensory aid in the teaching of blind children; to select from the curricula of the elementary and secondary schools the materials that are suitable for presentation through the media of magnetic recordings. In addition, the use of magnetic recordings in both teaching and testing is explored. Finally the place of magnetic recordings in evaluation and in the preservation of instructional materials is treated."--Introduction.
