O.H.N. is about hope. Inspired by Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carrol", James Wright is at a crossroads when he is visited by his deceased father who bears a warning: Ghosts are coming to end him at the stroke of midnight. The holidays are classically for renewing hope, celebrating the past and toasting the future. But when hope is lost, the past sucked and the future is stolen... where is there to go? For Jim, his autobiographical-holiday-film would be titled "It's A Miserable Life"-but the bell tolling midnight will not be an angel getting his wings. Instead, something real and meaningful. 'Oh, Hell... Noel' is fantasy/horror meant to disarm the living and the dead, but when all is said and done it cherishes them both as we can all use some hope from time to time.
