Résumé du livre

This documented briefing examines how intelligence support is provided to the existing DoD requirements and acquisition process and then discusses the adequacy of that support. Next, it describes a number of options to improve intelligence support to the existing process and then examines their relative merits. This study should be of interest to the intelligence community decisionmakers interested in improving intelligence support to military systems and to DoD decisionmakers responsible for ensuring that new weapon systems are provided with effective intelligence support during their life cycle--from identification of need to retirement from inventory. This briefing should also be of interest to those involved in the development of new weapon systems and to operators who will ultimately employ these weapons.
