This book is about a woman called Laverne who has overcome many obstacles in her life, an absent father, a neglectful mother and a cheating husband. Now she has to deal with the fact that her beloved little sister is involved in an abusive relationship. Life has been tough for Laverne but her luck seems to change when she gets a new job, a new flat and a new life. but nothing is smooth sailing, especially when a handsome stranger walks into her place of work one day and changes her life forever.
