In 2007, Dr. Yoon Hang "John" Kim found himself in Georgia, stranded without a job. It was an extremely difficult time. With limited financial resources and a family to support, he needed to find a source of income that would utilize his talents and experience. He realized that he had the perfect opportunity to pursue something more lasting and meaningful. This book tells the story of that journey, the confluence of events and good fortune which brought together a group of like-minded individuals and led to the creation of Georgia Integrative Medicine. It is a story of risk, reversals, and struggle. But far more importantly, it is also one of hope, strength, love, and compassion.
