Résumé du livre
"This dissertation is intended to serve a two-fold purpose. First of all, there is an attempt to adequately expose Mill's analysis and theory of the syllogism. A strenuous effort is made to precisely understand exactly what John Stuart Mill was attempting to convey in his claim of the syllogism's analysis and theory is offered in light of both traditional as well as contemporary logical sources. In the end, furthermore, the claim is put forward that Mill himself was involved in the very same begging the question snare of which he had so strongly brought accusation against the classical idea of the syllogism."--
