Résumé du livre
"There is a tradition that our ancestors, Thomas and Matthew, and their brother Nathaniel, landed at Plymouth, Massachusetts, then made their way overland to Connecticut ... After giving as full a description as possible of Matthew Camfield [1] and Thomas Canfield [1] and of their descendants to the third generation, this genealogy will be confined to the descendants of Israel Canfield [3] and to those of Ebenezer [2] and Matthew Camfield [2], as it is intended to include only the New Jersey stock, not the entire family in America." Descendants listed lived in New Jersey, New York, and elsewhere, and spelled their surname Canfield, Camfield, and Campfield.
