Résumé du livre
This collection consists of a booklet entitled "Five Came West" written by members of the Beta Alpha Chapter of ESA. Chapter members interviewed and recorded the memories of five elderly Montanans living at the Deaconess Skilled Nursing Center in Great Falls. These five were Nancy Wilson Robertson, born in Kansas; Adelia Belle Francisco Spohr, born in Missouri; Clara Haight, born in Iowa; Lee Butler Taylor, born in Tennessee; Bessie Gibson, born in Wisconsin. Spohr and Gibson were teachers, Haight was a nurse, Robertson and Taylor were ranchers/farmers. The booklet was prepared by the local ESA chapter as a Bicentennial Project, July 4, 1976.
