Colson Creek is about the adventures and misadventures of a young boy growing up in the rural south. It is set in the South Carolina low-country in the late 1950s. Jamey is the son of a laid-off construction worker who uses his motheras farm as a refuge during times of unemployment. Jamey experiences many of the problems of young boys, plus poverty, a broken home, and criminals. He also has girl trouble! Teens and those who once were teens may enjoy Jameyas adventures.
