Résumé du livre
Pools in the Valley of Baca is a compilation of poems that reminds the reader that God provides an oasis during difficult times. From a place of pain to that quiet place of solitude with God, each poem is both a prayer and a creative expression of the heart of man seeking the Divine. Pools in the Valley of Baca is an honest outpouring of poetry that relays man's need for total dependence on God, and God's faithfulness in providing comfort and shelter through the storms of life. Though these poems were written during a time of difficulty and defeat, each poem is a personal devotion and prayer for mercy and encouragement. Because hard times come and life isn't always easy, Pools in the Valley of Baca offers a refreshing pool reflecting God's love through author David B. Bartholomew's inspiring words. Everyone experiences highs and lows, from the mountaintop to the valley, and yet God's love never changes. God's presence is there in the time of trials. This is David B. Bartholomew's first book. He is currently working on another book of poetry, The Valley of Berachah (or valley of blessing). The author works as a process engineer for a major parts manufacturing company and resides in Bally, Pennsylvania.
