Résumé du livre
A privately owned, boutique engineering consulting firm, RMC, is successful but struggling to reconcile differences in values and expectations among the leaders of the firm. Some of the leaders are autocratic, privileged, and out of touch with the latest technology. Other leaders prefer a democratic, egalitarian, performance-based approach to management. Dr. Keller, the CEO of the firm, has retained Dr. Metger, an organization development consultant, to design and implement a research program to assess the firm's culture. Their plan is to use the research results to facilitate joint discovery, discussion, and collaborative problem-solving within the firm. Dr. Metger designed a data collection plan, which included surveying all employees via a questionnaire and conducting personal interviews with all the principals of the firm.
