It begins with Hope at five years of age and follows her through her childhood, adolescence, and early adulthood. With the help of her family and a special friend, Hope overcomes unbeatable odds to succeed in life despite her devastating circumstances. It is the hope of the author that each reader can glean from some part of Hopeas story to find hope and strength in their own lives. It is also the hope of the author that parents, teachers, and counselors can take a closer and sensitive look at the children who experience divorce. The sincere hope is that communication between adults and children will help all involved recover and live wonderful and full lives even after divorce.
