The Math You Missed presents topics that are often missing in text books and reference books. It begins with an important and little known topic. At least 90% of engineering students cannot tell you what a function is, although they use it every day. The basic concepts of differentiation and integration are followed by vector space and eigenvectors. Three chapters are devoted to crisp sets, fuzzy sets, and fuzzy system design. Probability, random variables, entropy, least squares estimation, mean square estimation, data reduction, and classification conclude this 320 page text.
