This book attempts to resolve this apparent contradiction based on classical philosophy of the scholastics. It is a low-key apologetical discussion of the problem of evil in relation to divine Providence, with a concluding Marian twist to this perenniel theme of all human reflection, so important not only philosophically, but above all spiritually.
