Résumé du livre
The purpose of this paper is to describe the evolution of Oregon's hatchery program through a review of Oregon fishery agency documents, to judge whether the goals of the hatchery program were achieved based on a comparison of historic (circa 1900) and contemporary production of coho and chinook salmon in ten Oregon coastal basins, and provide general conclusions regarding the salmon hatchery programs and make recommendations for improvement of future management of hatchery and wild salmon populations.
