Topics discussed: reorganization of Beaverbrook Overseas Scholarships; creation of Teachers' Overseas Scholarships which would entitle recipients to one year of study at the University of London's Institute of Education; appointment of a selection committee; number of scholarships to be granted and basis of selection; conversations with Claude Taylor and Dr. F.E. MacDiarmid, Minister and Deputy Minister of Education respectively. Also discussed: suitability of Starr property in Saint John for a law school including renovations to building, upkeep of grounds, furnishings and the consolidation of the law school course at Saint John.
