Dr. Joe Fox moves to a small Colorado mountain town to open his Family Practice. There he finds good friends, love and majestic mountain beauty. Dr. Joe also stumbles on a Colombian drug ring starting business in his town. He learns first hand how mountain people are prepared to handle their own problems. When he helps capture Carlos Montoya, the leader, things become very complicated and violent.
