Résumé du livre

Vietnam is a medium-sized country, at a 58th place among 200 countries of the world. However, with regard to the proportion of land per capita it is only at the 159th place due to a large population. In function of the increasing growth rate, the lack of land is getting more apparent. Non-agricultural use of land without a strict control has exerted a heavy impact on the production and the environment. The unplanned urbanization with its superficial expansion has encroached a vast area flat and most fertile oil. At present these activities not only disturb the soil but also dramatically soil the weathering crust at such a level that reclamation seems to be impossible. For a harmonies economic development and a sustainable environment, the urbanization in Vietnam shou;d be oriented toward a direction to form small and medium size centres scattered in the territory.
