Priscilla Jane Thomas (1931- ) was born in Monroe County, Georgia to Silas Leaman Thomas II (1906-1989) and Ruth Gibson (1906-1997). In 1955 she married Arthur Ray Rowland (1930- ) and they became the parents of two daughters. Jane descends from early Georgia, North Carolina and Virginia settlers.
