Chiefly a record of the family of Forbes Barclay. He was born 25 Dec 1812 in Lerwick, Shelton Islands to John Barclay and Charlotte Spense. He married Maria Pambrun 12 May 1842 in Fort Vancouver. She was born 26 Oct 1826 in Frasers Lake, New Caledonia, to Pierre Chrysologue Pamburn and Miss Humpherville. He died 13 May 1873 in Oregon City, Oregon. She died 2 Apr 1890 in Oregon City, Oregon. They were the parents of seven children.
