Welcome to a different style of devotional, based on insight of my poetry with related scriptural context. It is a compilation of prose, poetry and prayer to draw the reader closer to the Lord. Each devotional includes a personalized description with the associated spiritual application, a poem and a prayer. I encourage you to write your personal prayer at the end of each devotional. Cherish your time in Scripture as you read the passages and ask the Holy Spirit how He would have you pray. As you go through the devotionals, your prayer life and your love for the Lord will deepen. When you finish the book, you will have a legacy of prayers. As you read the poetry, you will gain an insight into my testimony and how the ashes of my missteps are the material from which God created beauty and nurtured healing in my life.
