In my previous book, "Heroes of American Freedom," I presented a series of classic writings and speeches which were instrumental in forging or promoting freedom in the United States of America. The second chapter of that book was Benjamin Franklin's magnificent "The Way to Wealth," which I included in a book about freedom because political and economic freedom creates the best conditions for the creation of wealth for the greatest number of people. In this book, I go further in that direction. Here, I present a series of classic writings and speeches specifically on the topic of prosperity.
