History from conception to design, regulatory delays and construction, leading up to its use on Apollo 11. What it NOT in the book is the use of the LRL DURING Project Apollo; it ends just as Apollo 11 begins. It does not include the moon rock theft, or the ultimate fate of the LRL, or scientific results. However, it is comprehensive about the content it does include.
