The book catalogs the American private collection of nineteenth century Dutch paintings collected by Don Robbins. His collection comprises works found primarily in the US and secondarily from Canada, England, Scotland and the Netherlands. The collection comprises works by Masters of The Hague School, and second generation Hague School Painters, Dutch Romantic and Barbizon Artists, and 19th Century American artists in the Netherlands.
