Résumé du livre
"We The People, When Do We Count?" is a commentary written by a concerned, middle class citizen who is "sick and tired" of American politics. Mr. Lund is frustrated by politicians and their parties who serve themselves most frequently, before serving those who elected them and pay them. The book chronicles the decade from 2006 through 2017, drawing comparisons of behavior between the Founding Fathers and modern-day politicians. The book is written in easy style and includes graphs, illustrations and original poetry. Pertinent history is discussed, as well as the goals of government that The Founding Fathers knew to be important. New ideas are introduced regarding The Economy, Immigration and how to find and qualify honest candidates for federal office. Mr. Lund intends that this book will motivate citizens to become actively involved in monitoring government, thereby eliminating future waste and corruption. His desire is that citizens and their children will live to see "the land of the free and the home of the brave", one more time!
