This book has been written for psychiatrists to use when reconsidering their own clinical decisions in the light of recent major changes in psychopharmacology and neuroscience. It does not intend to provide treatment guidelines but rather to highlight the different available avenues of treatment and stimulate discussion about the evaluative processes.
Summaries of all the main diagnostic groups are presented here to ensure that medics are fully aware of these developments.
