Rapidly growing floods of images and artificial intelligence have made art almost inevitably into a commentary on the illusion of actuality. Jana Schrö der, Peppi Bottrop und Andreas Breunig present drawings in the Gesellschaft fü r Gegenwartskunst in Augsburg. 20:15 is the title of the exhibition and this book. The three artists share a philosophical approach to their medium: " Our paintings are a response to the given conditions of pictoriality. We are here to deconstruct and ask what images really are."
