Résumé du livre
"Critical to a nation's success in achieving its social and economic developmental objectives is an effective education and training system for all young people. Apprenticeship has a long history as an effective way of attaining these objectives. This background paper endeavors to shed lights on apprenticehsip systems in Germany and Australia. Both systems (especially the German) are alluring for other countries. The German dual system of apprenticeship is widely considered as a good model for preparing young people to the world of work. Therefore, a number of countries (e.g., India) have sought German assistance in transforming their VET systems to resemble that of Germany."--Abstract.
