Résumé du livre

The increasing use of information technology has made more and more value equations, and value propositions, vulnerable to change. As this paper reveals, the coming of "marketspace" creates at least three related challenges for the manager. First amoung them is to realize just how effective the use of the virtual value chain can lower costs. Second, organizations need to differentiate by turning raw data into value for their customers. Third, managers need to understand the new network economics of the marketspace, and how different these economics are from the traditional "linear" economics of the marketplace.
