Augustine Shelburne (1756-1817) was born in Lunenburg Co., Virginia. He married Jane Bush in 1782. They were the parents of twelve children. Six were born in Lunenburg Co. and six were born in Spencer Co., Kentucky. They were: William, Mansfield, Nancy, Benjamin, Reiter, Seliah, Thomas, Mary, Frances, Julia Ann, John Wesley, and James Mason. Their son William (1783-1852) was born in Lunenburg Co., VA and was buried in Monroe Co., Indiana. He married Jinsey Robertson, the daughter of Isaac Mills and Mary Robertson. They were the parents of eleven children. Several generations of descendants are given.
