Résumé du livre
In what have come to be known as "wrongful birth" or "wrongful conception" actions, individuals who have become pregnant after sterilization procedures have failed, have sued their doctors in negligence. Nicolette Priaulx (2008), using legal reasoning, argued that the British courts' rulings in these cases have been inconsistent and unsupportable. In this paper, I will take the contrary view, arguing that the court's behavior can be explained using economic reasoning.
