This text is about men's responses to feminist reforms in schooling. It documents the various masculinity politics which have emerged in response to feminisms. It analyzes the playing out of such politics in educational systems, in both policy and practice. Men's responses to feminisms in education have become closely intertwined with the what about the boys? backlash. This and other forms of backlash are deconstructed.
