Chemotherapy for Paediatric Brain Tumours

Radiotherapy for a child with brain tumour is poorly tolerated by the developing nervous system leading to intellectual and endocrinological sequelae and poor quality of life. Chemotherapy is therefore encouraged especially for children younger than 3 years.
