This is a report on fish habitat capability and suitability models. Ninety-one stream and 87 lake capability models were reviewed and analyzed. Six suitablility methods were evaluated. These were the Habitat Evaluation Procedure (HEP), the Instream Flow Incremental Methodology (IFIM), the Missouri Stream Habitat Evaluation Procedure (SHEP), the Fish Habitat Index (FHI), the Planned Reservoir Habitat Suitability Index, and the Tennant Flow Index.
