Urbanization and Interactions in the Early Historic Deccan

This thesis examines the development of urbanization and interactions in the early historic Deccan. The Satavahana, Western Ksatrapa, and Iksvaku dynasties are the political constituents of this study, and I draw from their numismatic and epigraphic evidence in order to construct a regional history of the early historic Deccan.
